These very large, attractive iguanas make excellent captives and can become quite tame. These are likely C. n. lewisi/caymanensis/nubila hybrids and often exhibit at least some of the very desirable blue and light gray coloration. As with all Cyclura nubila species, the sclera (whites of the eye) can be blood-red in color and gives this iguana a truly spectacular appearance! Sales to other states are permitted without any federal permit required on these documented hybrid animals. These 2009 hatched iguanas are all from the well-known and impressive male, "Turk", a very large and heavy-bodied Blue Cayman hybrid, and “Mistress Blue”, a very large female with a little less blue than “Mrs. Blue”.
